CROSSE-OVER IA TAX UPDATE

January 2022

Iowa has changes to its tax table effective for all payrolls paid after January 2022. You may ignore these changes if you do not have employees with Iowa withholding.

You only need to make these changes in one company. Tax tables are shared between companies.

1. Choose File Maintenance from the Payroll Menu.

2. Choose Tax Tables from the File Maintenance Menu.

3. Enter the table ID – STXIA.

4. Enter the appropriate table data found below.

5. Press <PgDn> to save the table.

NOTE: The line near the bottom of table must start exactly with 8 nines, decimal and 2 nines:  99999999.99   Do NOT change this.

IMPORTANT: After you calculate the first payroll with this new table, be sure to print an Edit Register and check the tax withholding results.
